Safety
Never pay a deposit. Never send gift cards. Anyone who asks is scamming you — report them.
Before you visit
- Check the listing's status — avoid anything marked closed, and favor listings with recent reviews.
- Read recent reviews, not just the average rating, and watch for repeated tags like "upsell pressure," "rushed," or "bait-and-switch."
- Confirm hours and price range directly with the business before you go.
- Tell someone where you're going.
Writing a review
Reviews should describe your actual visit — service quality, price, and atmosphere. Reviews with three or more "bait-and-switch" reports trigger a warning banner on the listing so other visitors see it immediately. New accounts' first three reviews are checked by a moderator before they go live to keep the review pool honest.
Reporting a concern
Use "Report closed" if a listing has shut down, or the Report button for a scam, trafficking concern, or fake listing. Trafficking and underage reports always jump to the front of our review queue, and once a second report (or one from an established member) corroborates the concern, the listing is hidden automatically while our team investigates.
- US National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888 (text "HELP" to 233733)
- EU: 116 000, or your national police non-emergency line
- In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first.
Owning a listing
